We usually reply within a few days. Please include your app version, shown at the bottom of the Settings screen.

Does Bite need an iPhone?

No. Bite is a standalone Apple Watch app. There is no companion iPhone app to install, and nothing to set up on the phone.

Does Bite need an internet connection?

No. The game runs entirely on the watch and never goes online. It works in aeroplane mode, on the water, and anywhere else with no signal.

How do I fish?

Pick a spot on the map and pay the fare to travel there. On the water, press and hold to build casting power, release to cast, then wait. When the float dips, turn the crown to set the hook and keep the line tension in the safe band until the fish is landed. The watch taps you at every stage, so you can play with the screen dimmed.

Why did my line break?

Tension went too high for too long. Ease off the crown when the fish runs and pull when it tires. Heavier fish need stronger line — the shop sells it.

Where do fishcoins come from?

You are paid for every fish you land, by weight and species. Spend them on rods, line, hooks and bait, and on travel to the better spots. Fishcoins are part of the game only: they cannot be bought with real money and have no value outside the app.

Can I lose my progress?

Progress is saved on the watch automatically. It is erased if you delete the app, or if you use Reset progress in Settings, which asks for confirmation first. There is no cloud backup, because the game stores nothing outside your watch.

Are there ads, purchases or subscriptions?

None. Bite is free, has no advertising, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. It collects no data of any kind.

How do I turn the sound off?

Settings has a Sound toggle, and the same switch is on the fishing screen as a speaker button. Haptics stay on, so the game is still fully playable in silence.

I found a bug, or I have an idea

Settings has an Email feedback button that opens a message with your version already filled in. Or write to bite@olxstr.cc directly.
